The Roles of the Powertrain Components

Movement of a car is the result of compact work procedure of a set of Powertrain components. These components are necessary for the transmission of the power from the engine to a vehicle’s movable parts.
The Parts in the System
The powertrain components include the following parts in its performance.
  • Engine
It is the most important part in the system. It is the interconnected part of the fluid flowing circuit that initiates the transmission.
  • Transmission
It is the power generation procedure from the fuel. It provides the required strength to a vehicle to take up its speed and convert the torque in the wheels.

  • Differentials
This automobile mechanism takes the control of the turns controlling the velocity of the car.
  • Drive Shaft
This mechanism controls the relationship between the rotation and torque at the time of transmission.
Thus, the entire mechanism is set as per the required performance.
